Meet Bec
Hi there, I'm Bec, a qualified Sports Massage Therapist who swapped the treatment table for a van and a business I can run from anywhere, while traveling with my fur baby, Isla.
Before the clinic there was a 20 year corporate career that looked exactly like I thought being successful would, but felt hollow and incredibly stressful.
Retraining as a Sports Massage therapist allowed me to move away for the pressure and politics, into work that actually helped people, hands-on and I loved it.
The clinic had a ceiling though. Very early into my 40s, menopause started hammering my recovery time, and a busy week in clinic was taking longer and longer to recover from. I ran the numbers on 27 more years of that before retirement was even an option and knew I needed an income that didn't depend on my body being upright in a treatment room. That's what took me online, and it's what let me sell up and close my clinic, meaning I could travel or treat people as I wished, after all, I still love treating people hands on, just on my own terms.
This isn't a side interest for me. I trained as a Certified Molecular Hydrogen Advisor, so I understand the water our product produces at a level most distributors don't, and I now teach that science to other communities and speak in colleges about the health benefits behind it. I'm also building training resources for distributors across the wider business, not just my own team, because the gap I saw when I started is one I'm now working to close for everyone coming after me.
Being part of Connected has given me more than I expected when I signed up: a body of specialist knowledge I get to put to real use, a platform to teach it from, and a hand in shaping how the next wave of distributors get trained and supported. Alongside that, I've built a business that delivers an income no longer capped by clinic hours and a working life that fits around Isla and my life goals rather than the other way round.
